Mariam joined the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) as committee secretary in 2013; in this role she provides secretariat support to the governance bodies at UTM. She was previously at the Regional Municipality of Peel where she supported Regional Council in her role as legislative assistant. Mariam has an Honours BA in Public Policy and International Development Studies and a Certificate in Project Management, both from the University of Toronto (U of T). She is currently pursuing an MBA and is looking to specialize in public and strategic management.

Hilda is an administrative assistant in Facilities & Services, Utilities & Building Operations. She has been at the University for 14 years. She loves working at U of T because each day brings some sort of happiness or great moment that adds to her enjoyment of life. She is very intrigued by how the University operates and finds that joining committees is a great way to learn more. Hilda’s hands-on approach and willingness to share information and expertise is a plus to her coworkers. She feels privileged to work with a great bunch of professionals, who excel in their field and truly appreciate her efforts and support her ideas. Everyone raves about her world famous banana bread that often finds its way into the office. “One bite and you are hooked!”

Alycia Bromley

Alycia has worked at the University since October 2008 and is currently the manager, Office of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Advancement Services in the Division of University Advancement (DUA). Alycia provides overall management of the financial and human resources functions within the division of University Advancement. She also supports the Office of the COO and Advancement Services. Prior to her role in DUA, she was the executive assistant to the vice-president and provost. Alycia enjoys yoga, travelling, concerts and her cottage in Parry Sound.

Planning & Budget

Treena is the senior secretary and business officer in the Planning & Budget Office. Treena coordinates the operational functions for the office and provides administrative support to the executive director. She is also responsible for institutional budget transfers, including those related to the University’s capital projects, processing of legal invoices, and coordination of major research funds.

Treena has 15 years of international work experience in large multinational companies ranging from Colgate-Palmolive in Bombay, India, to Emirates Airlines in the United Arab Emirates. Since immigrating to Canada in 2000, Treena has worked at the University in various capacities, including executive secretary to the Vice-President & Provost, senior secretary and business officer to the Vice-Provost, Planning & Budget as well as at Academic Operations. Treena holds a BA from the University of Bombay.

Elizabeth (Liz) Fong
Benefits Advisor
HR & Equity, Benefits

Liz joined the University in 2011. She is currently a benefits advisor in the Central Human Resources Office. Providing friendly and timely customer service to employees regarding benefit inquiries across the University’s three campuses is the most rewarding part of Liz’s role. She is honoured to have the opportunity to communicate with employees on this level, as well as serving as a member on the Confidential / PM (1-2) Advisory Committee.

Amanda Greener
Manager, Strategy Implementation & Staff Operations
Hart House

Amanda is the manager of strategy implementation and staff operations, as well as a member of the senior management team at Hart House. She works with Hart House leadership to foster a vision-centred workforce and work culture, implementing strategies to meet the unique needs of the Hart House community. Working collaboratively with various University offices, especially Central Administration HR Services (CAHRS), Amanda is responsible for customizing Hart House’s human resources, operational strategies and practices within the wider University context and procedural framework. Leveraging Hart House and University resources and expertise, Amanda is also responsible for the organization’s professional development and training plan for a diverse body of staff-appointed and casual staff members.

Peter Limberger

Peter has been working at the University for four years in a human resources capacity. He is currently an HR advisor at CAHRS, which provides full HR services to the University’s central administrative divisions. In his role, his duties include full end-to-end recruitment, job evaluation, and client support. As an alum and a current employee of the University, Peter is passionate about this institution and is committed to its success.

Rena started her career at U of T in 2010 atthe Faculty of Medicine as a program assistant in the Department of Family & Community Medicine. She then moved on to the Office of the Governing Council as an administrative assistant. In her current role as committee secretary, she provides secretariat support to the governance bodies at UTSC. Rena has an Honours BA in Urban, Economic & Social Geography from the University of Toronto and a graduate certificate in Human Resources Management from George Brown College. Rena’s favourite place on campus is the Knox College courtyard where faculty, staff and students can enjoy peaceful moments during hectic times.

Anna Maria Reale

Anna is an administrative assistant in the Office of the Dean, UTM. She has been at U of T for six-and-a-half years. She is responsible for providing administrative support to the undergraduate and graduate vice-dean and to the Office of the Dean, UTM. Anna provides assistance and support to UTM graduate students, organizes orientation, and administers the graduate student travel grant, the QEII-GSST award and campus affiliation. She truly enjoys working at the University of Toronto Mississauga.

Adrienne has been at the University for eight years and is currently the executive assistant to the Vice-President, Research & Innovation (VPRI). She works closely with the VP, and the VPRI executive team to ensure that each portfolio’s priorities are met. She also coordinates meetings, workshops, and day-to-day operations of the office. One of Adrienne’s most memorable U of T experiences was organizing the Celebration of Research Excellence, recognizing prestigious faculty award-winners and honourees.

Joe-Anne started her career at the University six years ago with the Central Human Resources team as a pensions advisor. After five years in that role, she decided to gain another perspective on how the University works by becoming an HR advisor in the Professional Faculties South HR Office. She is now an HR advisor for the Faculty of Engineering. One of Joe-Anne’s most memorable moments at the University was taking a walking tour offered by the Nona MacDonald Visitor’s Centre. She especially enjoyed the unexpected treasures of the University’s historic buildings — the inviting courtyards, sacred spaces, old organs, and sprinkling of ghost stories. She highly recommends taking a tour. It’s a great way to enjoy the beautiful St. George campus.

Maitri Vosko
Assistant to the Principal
Innis College

Maitri is currently the assistant to the principal at Innis College. She also has responsibilities in the Advancement office. She joined the University in 2005, working in the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department as an administrative assistant. She then moved to the Rotman School of Management as an event planner in the Corporate Connections Centre. Prior to joining U of T, she worked in the airline industry in both inflight services and HR for over 15 years. Maitri is also a certified image consultant and holds seminars on dressing for success.
